Mr. Snuffer was a retired coal miner having last worked for Westmoreland Coal Company. He attended the Glen View Independent Baptist Church and was a member of the UMWA. Mr. Snuffer was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Kirby Snuffer.

Mr. Smith was a retired coal miner having worked for Maben Energy, was a member of the UMWA and the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers; Dougal, John Andrew, Thomas Fisher and William F. Smith, Jr. Mr. Smith was a resident of Stanaford for the past 75 years.
