William "Bill" Davidson Cuthbert

William “Bill” Davidson Cuthbert, 87, of Beckley, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born June 23, 1934, in Chicago, IL. Bill was the son of the late Robert and Marion Cuthbert. Besides his parents Bill was preceded in death by his brother, John Cuthbert and sister Christine Huddle.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; son, Steven; daughters, Janet (Jeff) Whitely, Jill (Jeff) Moorefield; grandchildren, Gavin Ward, Laura Warden, Christy Whitely; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Lilah
Bill graduated from Stoco High School in 1952 and attended Concord College and West Virginia University. Over the years he worked at Earl’s Studio, King Photo, Carolina Gun and Flat Top Arms. Bill was a U. S. Air Force veteran.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, remember Bill with a donation to Greater Beckley Christian School or to the Beckley VA Medical Center.
