Warren Neal Aldridge, 72, of Shady Spring, WV, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Born October 29, 1949 in Cohutta, GA, he was the son of the late Silas Lloyd and Nannie O’Dell Heitt Aldridge.
Warren was a maintenance technician for the National Mine Health and Safety Academy. He was a U.S. navy veteran and served in the Army reserves for more than 20 years. He loved working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Lloyd Aldridge; brothers, Silas Lloyd Aldridge, Jr., Robert “Bobby” Aldridge and sisters, Effie Nelle Pierce, Velma Jeanette Peters, Joyce Ann Pearson, Reba Drucilla Trapp and Frances Charmaine Williams.
Warren is survived by his daughter, Wanelle Ortiz of Beckley, WV; granddaughter, Toni Marie Ortiz and partner, Matt Brannen of Beckley, WV; brothers, Winton Gene Aldridge of Cohutta, GA, Stanley Wayne Aldridge (Faye) of Tunnel Hill, GA; sister, Marion Shana Wright (Jim) of Dalton, GA; granddaughter of the heart, Madison Walker of Morgantown/Beckley as well a host of nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a celebration of Warren’s life at a later date in Georgia.
