Wallace Franklin Brannon, 86, of Pineville, WV, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at The Villages of Greystone.
Born September 15, 1928 in Spencer, WV, he was the son of the late Ray Palmer and Sallie Ferrel Brannon.
Wallace was a graduate of the WVU School of Pharmacy. He was the successful owner/operator of the Holloway Drug Store in Pineville for many years. After selling the drug store Wallace continued his profession working for several area pharmacies. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Pineville United Methodist Church. Wallace was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Evans Brannon; son, Alan Wallace Brannon and his wife Barbara of Clarksburg, WV; grandchildren, Lacey Katherine, Alexis Paige and Jacob Alan Brannon all of Clarksburg.
Following his wishes Wallace will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pineville United Methodist church.
