Veronica Naomi Guy, age 15 of Beckley, WV
Veronica is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jess and Mike Lawrence; sisters, Alexis Miller and Willow Guy; grandparents, Debbie Marshall, Gwenolyn Guy, Vern and Edna Kitchen, Mike and Doris Lawrence Sr.; uncles Brian, David and James Guy, John Marshall, Craig Kittle and Devrick Phillips; aunts, Christina Guy, Michelle Edmond, Andrea and Danielle Kittle as well as numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Neal Shannon Guy. Veronica was kind, generous, funny, smart and very loving. She adored her family and her dog, Sprocket. She made everyone who loved her very proud. She had a job at Qdoba Mexican Grill and liked her co-workers. She had her learner's permit and was looking forward to getting a car for her sixteenth birthday, all while maintaining good grades in school. She dreamt of a career helping people as a nurse midwife. She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful personality that brightened every day. She was considered a "best friend" to many people, especially her immediate family. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts that will never mend.
A celebration of Veronica’s life will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022, at North Beckley Church of Christ, 3721 Robert C. Byrd Dr. with Jerry Stumpf officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
