Vernon Clifton Farrish, 97 of Beckley passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Born January 26, 1924 in Stanaford, WV, he was the son of the late John and Mary Lillian Campbell Farrish.
Vernon was a retired miner. He was a member of Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church and the UMWA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Vernon was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his children, Connie Carroll of Beckley, Jerry Farrish of Beaver, WV, Johnny Farrish of Beckley, Robin Chapman of Beckley, Janet Berry of Stanaford, WV; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and his sister, Erma Suttle.
Services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Blue Ridge memorial gardens Mausoleum 3 with Pastor Rodney Allen officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
