Venis Chambers

Mrs. Chambers was a resident of Beckley for more than 65 years. She was President of Chambers Oil Company and was a mmeber of the Memorial Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and outdoor activites at Flat Top Lake. She was preceded in death by her hsuband, George B. Chambers, former Mayor of Beckley and by two sons, Alvin G. Chambers, Harold D. Chambers and his wife Teresa Novak Chambers. She was also preceded in death by her brother Ian D. Sloan and hiw wife Marcella Pettry Sloan of Michigan.
