Velva Ramona Adkins

Velva Ramona Adkins 93 was called home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2020.
Born in Mabscott, WV, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Nellie Aldridge.
Velva was a loving, devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend and was a shining example of God’s love to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Carnedis Adkins and sisters Mildred Robertson and Dean Floyd.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Velva include her sisters Ruby Jones, Punkie Watson and June Wright; brothers Ernie and Frank Aldridge; sons, Mark Adkins & wife Jeanie, Jeff Adkins & wife Linda; Grandchildren, Carolann, Tera, Melissa and Joshua; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Amelia, Austin, Marcus, Jeffery and Brooklyn as well as multiple nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Vondie Cook, II officiating.
