Tony J. Tipane

Tony J. Tipane, 88, of Beckley passed away Friday, June 11, 2021.
Born April 22, 1933, in Mabscott, WV, he was the son of the late Agatino and Josephine Sparacino Tipane.
Tony was a maintenance assistant at St. Francis De Sales. He formerly worked for the Social Security Administration in Cincinnati, OH as well as Martina Tile. Tony was an avid card player and enjoyed attending WVU football games. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Tipane, Santa Elkins, Grace Puglis, Nellie Cooper, and brother Louis A. Tipane.
Tony is survived by a sister, Teenia Trimboli of Beaver Creek, OH as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral liturgy will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Very Rev. Paul Wharton, V.F and Monsignor Samuel Sacus officiating. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Calfee Funeral Home with visitation continuing until 11:30 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Richard Culicerto, John Massinople, Mike Massinople, Carl O’Hara, Robert Tipane, Fred Tipane, Rusty Rappold.

CDC guidelines say face masks are not required for those fully vaccinated. Face masks will be provided for those who are not vaccinated or would prefer to wear one.
