Timothy Robert Allen, 43, of Crab Orchard, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. Born January 1, 1968 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Carroll David and Betty Ann Hatcher Allen. Timothy was a steel worker and a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting fishing and spending time with his sons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Russell Goss.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Melissa Annette Goss Allen; sons, David Russell Allen, Derrick Ray Allen and Dustin Ryan Allen all of Beckley; mother-in-law, Barbara Wills of Beckley; sister-in-law, Beth Elqadi of Crab Orchard; longtime friend, “Hillbilly” of Crab Orchard and his very loving caregiver, Deanna Elkins of Crab Orchard.
A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m Friday, December 23, 201 at the West Raleigh Church with pastors Cleve Allen and Brian Harmon officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon until service time on Friday.
