Thomas Jefferson Jeff McMillion

Thomas Jefferson “Jeff” McMillion, 78, of Pence Springs, WV passed away Saturday, May 17, 2104. Born October 15, 1935 in Lester, he was the son of the late Willie and Winnie Davis McMillion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Ryan, Teddy and Roger McMillion.
Jeff was a 1955 graduate of Marsh Fork High School. He had various work experiences throughout his ife, the last being with the City of White Sulphur Springs. While he was able, Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his flowers.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Elaine Churchville and husband Steve of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters, Tracy Hammock and Casey Hand; great-grandchildren, Josey Hammock, Georgia Hammock and Damon McGhee all of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Benny McMillion and wife Kitty of Chesterfield, VA; sisters, Mary Alice Waitkus and husband Charley of Crab Orchard, Brenda Nelson and husband Tom of Pence Springs, WV, Betty Green of Star, NC and Joice Wendell and husband Joe of St. Thomas, PA along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Legg officiating. Burial will follow in the Covey-Trail Cemetery at Surveyor. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Howard Loggins, Darrell Brown, Willard McMillion, Billy Green, Andrew Wendell and Charles Waitkus.
