Thias Cohen Crookshanks, infant son of Tristan Cohen and Chancley Lateisha Lowery Crookshanks, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. Thias was born September 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Arnold Day, Donald Owens, Stella Mae and Floyd Lowery, Nancy Miller and Gene Crookshanks.
Thias is also survived by his sister, Trisley Shea Crookshanks; maternal grandparents, Durenda and Neal Lowery of War, WV, paternal grandparents, Lisa & Ron Short of Corrine, WV and David and Tina Crookshanks of Crab Orchard, WV; great-grandparents, Gerry Day Owens of Caretta, WV, L.C. and Janie Miller of Lester, WV, Sue Crookshanks of Glen Daniel, WV, Leon and Minnie Short of Clear Fork, WV; aunts, Josie Short, Stephanie Short, Jenny Short, Leanne Martin, Ashton Makwana, Jessica Ferrill and Brandi Hicks, ; uncles, Nathanal Lowery, Chris Herron, Nick Coleman and Matthew Martin; special cousins, Boogie Lowery, Alyssa Lowery, Alston Gilbert, Kaylee Muncy, Payton Martin, Jaxon Martin
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Clear fork Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Toler-Short Memorial Cemetery at Clear Fork. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the church on Thursday.
