Teresita Rojas

Teresita D. Rojas, 87, of Beckley, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023. Born on May 9, 1936, in the Philippines she was the daughter of the late Don Deocales and Fe Cajilig Deocales. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Teofilo R. Rojas, Jr. and brother, Dale Deocales.

Teresita was a retired hospital pharmacist and longtime member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Bernadette Whitt and Theresa Rojas; brothers, Rolando and Donito Deocales; sister Donita Hernandez and grandchildren, Benjamin Alexander Whitt, Maria Kirsten Whitt, Sabrina Xiaojing Whitt and Samantha Meixian Whitt.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Leonard Smith officiating.  A rite of committal will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery. A reception will follow the liturgy in the church hall.
