Tammy Renee Cheek-Ballard

Tammy Renee Cheek-Ballard,45, of Daniels, WV, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020.
She was born on October 5, 1974 in Beckley, the daughter of Frank E. Cheek and the late Kathy J. Perdue Scalf.
She was preceded in death by her mother Kathy Scalf; step-mother, Lois Cheek; step-father, Dean Scalf; step-sister, Evangeline Brinkley.
Surviving in addition to her father is her son, Corey Lee Cheek and wife Karyssa of Crab Orchard; daughter, Monica Renee Ballard and (Jason Terrell); two sisters, Frances E. Cheek of Daniels and Pamela Lawson and husband Robert of Shenandoah, VA and brother Nickolaos Shizas (Charles) of CA.
Also left to cherish her memory are her 3 beloved grandchildren, Macie Brooke Cheek, Chace Lee Cheek and Mackenzie Legend Terrell; 3 nephews, Mitchell Savina, Charles Maggard, Jr. (CJ), Timothy Savina and a niece, Megan Lawson.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
