Stollie A. Buffurine, 86 of Beckley passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018.
Born February 29, 1932 at Pine Knob, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Daisy Mae Hendricks Pettry.
Stollie was a retired nurse. She was a member of Cross Point Church of God and past president of the ladies group. She loved shopping, planting flowers and traveling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Persinger and granddaughter, Kimberly Speas.
She is survived by daughters, Betty Holstein and her husband Larry of Hickory, NC, Patsy Shelton and her husband Jerry of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Nikki Burwell, Jennifer Hudgins, Steve Bradford and his wife Leslie; six great-grandchildren; sister, Judy McGinnis of Dry Creek; brothers, Okey Pettry and his wife Emily and Howard Pettry of Naoma.
Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Calfee Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Persinger officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
