Stewart Edward Vint

Stewart Edward Vint, 70, of Fairdale passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
Born November 27, 1949 at Barrett, WV, he was the son of the late Curtis Edward and Alti Mae Justice Vint.
Stewart was a former coal miner having last worked for Mingo Logan Coal. He loved hunting, archery and WVU football. Stewart was a Vietnam War veteran serving with the U.S. Army First Cavalry Division
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Edward Vint and sisters, Brenda Johnson and Patricia Baker.
Stewart is survived by a daughter, Shana Marie Beckett of Fayetteville, NC; sons, Christopher Michael Vint of Salem, VA and Eric Matthias Vint of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Joshua Edward Jones, Nikki Brown, Bryan Beckett, Ivy E. Vint; great-granddaughter, Elisa Jones; sisters, Kathy Maynard and Frances Collins.
Services will be 2 pm Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Vint Family Cemetery at Fairdale. Friends may visit with the family from 6-7:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
