Stephen Lee Workman

Stephen Lee Workman, 41, of Beckley, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Morgantown. Born December 1, 1974 in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Merry E. Redden.
Stephen was a former coal miner.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah H. Workman Gillespie and Arthur L. Workman and a sister, Brandi Lynn McKay
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Tammy J. Workman of Beckley; son, Corey L. Workman and Anna Shrewsberry of Backus Mountain; father, Steve McKay of VA; five step-fathers; sister, Sarah Richmond of Beckley; brother, Jonathan McKay of VA; 3 nephews, Brandon M. Vaught of PA, Jennings (J.W.) Richmond of Hinton, Benjamin (B.W.) Weikle of Backus Backus Mountain; niece, Gabrielle Weikle of Backus Mountain.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Wahl officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrah Cemetery on Backus Mountain. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
