Sharon Annette Bellomy

Sharon Annette (Workman) Bellomy, Age 73 of Beckley, WV went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2025

She was born on May 27, 1951 in Huntington, WV. Sharon Lived and made her home in Beckley, WV with her loving husband, Dwight Edward Bellomy, of 51+ years. Sharon was the loving mother of one daughter, Laura Ashley Bellomy of Charleston, WV.

She is survived by her Husband, Dwight, Daughter, Laura (Evan Bailey), Brother Mark Workman of Huntington, Sister, Kimberly Ann Damron of Nicholasville, KY, and Brother Matthew (Cindy) Workman of Huntington, Sister in Law Rose Moore of Prichard WV, and Sister in Law Shirley (Curt) Panning of Titusville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Marie (Billups) Workman, and her father Dennis Eugene Workman and Grandparents.

Sharon was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances.

She was a member of Kenova Baptist Church, and attended Prosperity Bible Church in Prosperity, WV with a host of special friends and acquaintances.

Sharon was a graduate of Ceredo Kenova High School and Huntington Business College and was employed by Ashland Oil, Inc., and Ashland Coal Liquefaction, Inc. early in her career. She also was a Floral Designer and floral shop owner of Roller Floral, and a designer for Flowers by Nancy for several years before retiring.

Calfee Funeral Home of Beckley is in charge of the services which will be held on Monday March 24, 2025 at the Funeral Home chapel. Visitation and viewing is scheduled for 4-6PM with the funeral service immediately following; conducted by Pastor Tim Barton of Prosperity Bible Church. A brief Graveside Service, also conducted by Pastor Barton, will be held at the Lakin Family Cemetery in Prichard, WV on Tuesday March 25, 2025 where she will be laid to rest, at 1 PM.

The family would like to extend warm heartfelt gratitude to themanagement and staff of Hilltop Nursing Center for the wonderful care for Sharon over the past several months.

Donations can be made to Prosperity Bible Church in lieu of flowers in Sharon’s honor.
