Samuel Paul Rahal, 58, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. Born February 17, 1959 in Beckley he was the son of the late George Rahal and Phyllis Jean Houchins Rahal of Beckley.
Sam was a retired equipment operator for the WV Parkways Authority. He loved cars, his family, especially his grandbabies and his dogs. He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He will be remembered for his serving heart and his willingness to always lend a hand.
In addition to his mother Sam is survived by his wife, Sarah Jane Summers Rahal; son, Jonathan and wife Tamara of Beaver; daughter, Samantha Lane and husband Chris of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren, Carli Rahal, Conner, Chloe and Gabi Lane; brothers, George Rahal of Erie, PA and David Rahal of Beckley; mother-in-law, Wanda Summers of Beckley; best friend of 45 years, Steve Gravely of Beckley and his dogs, Zorro and Matilda.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Cross Point Church of God, 110 Crescent Rd with Pastor Bud Israel officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church.
Pall bearers will be Teddy Goins, II, T.J. Cisco, Rocky Wickline, Randy Boley, Mike Hamilton, Steve Gravely.
