Rosemary O'Dell

Rosemary O’Dell, 83 of Beckley, WV died on February 2, 2024. She was born in Beckley, WV in 1940 to the late James A Willis and Elva Lintecum Willis.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her son John M O’Dell and serval siblings, Clara Porter, Annette Smith, Kathleen Woody, Jackie Willis, Nadine Acord, Jr Willis, Chester Willis and Joe Willis.

Survived by her husband of 60 years Gary A. O’Dell along with daughter Robin L Carper (Jeffrey W Carper) and son Brian K O’Dell (Cindy O’Dell); surviving siblings Dean Willis, Betty Bolen, Carol Sue Dean,  Brenda Farley, Ilene Boyd and Sharon Jones, long with 4 grandchildren Rachel N Scarberry, Amber L Carper, Abigail R Carper, Andy O’Dell and 5 great grandchildren Gabriella R Scarberry, Weston L Arms, Isabella R Scarberry, Waylon J Arms and Elijah L Scarberry.

Rosemary was a loving and caring mother and a wonderful wife. She devoted her life to loving and supporting her family. She will be truly missed by all.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
