Roosevelt S. Ramella

Born March 18, 1912 at Maitland, WV, he was the son of the late Peitro and Carolina Ramella. Roosevelt was a coal miner retiring from eastern Gas and Fuel in Keystone. He resided in Welch and the Welch area until moving to Daniels in 2003. He was an active member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Welch through 2003 and became a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church after relocating to Daniels. Roosevelt served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II. He was preceded in death brothers; Leon, Tullio and Aldo, sisters; Melina Agostine and two infant sisters, Alba & Lina.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lina Rasi Ramella
Sons:Dennis Ramella and David Ramella both of Daniels
Reno Ramella of Charleston, WV
Grandson:Joseph Ramella of Charleston, WV
Numerous nieces and nephews.
