Ronald Greco

Ronald N. Greco, 70, of Beckley, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at home following a short illness. . Born July 6, 1939 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Toney and Dallas Williams Greco. Ronald was a master electrician starting his career with Gunter Electric. He later owned Sophia Electric and last worked for American Electric Equipment Inc.. He was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church and a former member of the New River Winding Gulf Institute. He is survived by his wife, Carol Thompson Greco, daughter, Jody Bass and her husband Tom of Beckley, son, Ronald N. Greco, Jr. and his wife Kelli of Beckley, grandchildren; Sam, Shane and Ali Bass, Hunter and Hannah Greco, sisters; Mary Gilkerson and husband Ken of Cranberry and Patricia Hopkins and husband Doug of Crab Orchard, brother, Toney Greco and his wife Mary of Midway and his dear aunt, Willa Milliken of Beckley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Oak Grove Christian Church with Larry Hatfield, Joe Schmidt and Ken Overdorf officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Sam Bass, Hunter Greco, Gary Thompson, II, Philip Hatfield, David Cernuto, Mark Hopkins, Shane Greco.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the MS Foundation, 6350 North Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
