Roger Dean Blevins

Roger Dean Blevins, Sr., 53, of Coal City, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010, in a Beckley hospital. Born March 19, 1957, he was the son of the late Ben Blevins and Virginia Bolen Blevins. Mr. Blevins was self-employed as a mechanic, and a life-long resident of Coal City.
Mr. Blevins is survived by three sons, Roger D. Blevins, Jr. of Fireco, Carlos Blevins of Mabscott, and Russell Vaught of Whitby; three daughters, April Hawlett of Jacksonville, FL, Rebecca Blevins of Gastonia, NC, and Atta Gales; and fifteen brothers and sisters.
Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2010, at the Thompson Cemetery in Coal City.Friends may call at the cemetery from noon until time of service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
