Robert Smith

Robert (Bob) Smith, 86, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 following a long illness.
Born September 22, 1934 in Stanaford, WV, he was the son of the late William Fisher and Catherine Cooper Smith.
Robert served in the U.S. Army and later worked for Meadow Gold Dairy for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, auctions, flea markets. He loved his family and looked forward to spending winters in FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Reva Mae Dunn Smith; brothers, Dougal, John, Thomas, Willie (Eva), Alex (June) smith; sisters, Janet Fisher Smith, Beatrice (Bob) Scott, Mary (Fred) Smith, Catherine (Robert) Scott, Marion Smith; sisters-in-law, Ashella (Hayden) Lemon, Avis (Robert) Gumarin; brothers-in-law, Frank Carter, Wilbur (Nancy) Dunn and son-in-law, Jeff Lee.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Karen and husband Dennis St. Clair (his caregivers) of Glen Daniel, WV; sisters, Janet Smith and Peggy Carter both of Stanaford, WV; step grandsons, Jeff (Maria) St. Clair of Thomasville, NC and Chris (Courtney) St. Clair of Sophia; 4 step grandsons; 3 step granddaughters; many nieces and nephews and his special little buddy and friend, Sugar Baby, who will miss him dearly.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
