Robert Carlos Bland

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert C. Bland (known to friends and family as RC) of Lanark on September 25, 2020 at the age of 56 years. Robert had a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that was contagious. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Bland, and a sister Ethel Hanks. He is survived by his brothers Rusty and Jimmy Bland and sisters Diane Smith, Joyce Smith and Tina Alvarez. He will forever be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be 1PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Terry Kitty Moore and Roger Smith, Jr. officiating. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service at the gravesite.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements by Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley.
