Retha Elizabeth Peak

Retha E. Peak, 94, of Beckley, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. Born April 16, 1918 in Pocahontas, VA, she was the daughter of the late Conley and Ora Pierce. Retha was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting blankets and afghans and spending time with family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce Peak; daughters Roberta Peak Ekins; sister, Bonnie Davis and brothers Clarence and Billy Pierce.
Survivors include two sons, Conley Peak and his wife Kate of The Villages, FL and Robert (Duke) Peak and his wife Tuddy of Vermilion, OH; one daughter Winifred Peak Acord and her husband Lonnie of Christiansburg, VA; son-in-law, Mickey Elkins of Beckley; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
