Rebecca Cox

Rebecca Sue Cox, 58, of Arnett, Wv went home to Heaven on October 19, 2022.

Rebecca was the daughter of the late Darl and Beulah Cook.

Rebecca was preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Charles, Jack Cook and sisters, Sarah Lafferty and Jean Combs.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memory include her loving husband of 42 blessed years Stephen Cox; daughters, Stephanie (Brad) Rose, April Cox; sons, Dale and Patrick Cox; daughter-in-law, Sonni Farley Cox; grandchildren, Noah (Shana) Wimmer, Aron (Billie) Wimmer, Sierra, Alexander, Dallas, Dakota Athey, Dalton and Colton Cox, Landon and Maddison Cox, Bryson and GraceLynn Gray, Roxy, Trace and Baylea Rose, Kasey Lilly, McKenzie, Trevor, Jaydon, Jeremiah Sawyers; great-grandchildren, Amberly and Oliver Wimmer, Asher Wimmer, Montana and MaBella Weikle; brothers, James (Patsy) Cook, William Cook, Phillip (Debbie) Cook, Darl ( Ida) Cook; sisters, Minnie Lemon, Mary Daniel, Linda Daniel, Doris Combs, Deteria (Randy) Cox, Lexta (Gary) Davis; many brothers-in-law and  sisters-in-law who are special, and she loved very much; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Rebecca was the kindest soul with the biggest heart, and it showed. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile. Though she is gone we will carry on with her loving kindness she showed everyone.  We will forever cherish the memories we have had with the angel that she was on earth.

Rebecca had 4 fur babies that she loved and adored very much, Diego, Tiny, Remi and Rosco.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Flat Branch Baptist Church in Arnett with her brother James Cook and Pastor Andy Davis officiating.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
