Ralph Hale Prince

Ralph Hale Prince, 81, of Crab Orchard passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born on October 16, 1939, at Crab Orchard, he was the son of the late Okie C. and Ora Hale Prince.
Ralph was a gradutate of Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1957. He owned and operated Webbs of Beckley Florist for over 50 years. He was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church. He enjoyed fellowship with the church, gardening, and spending time at the river.
He is survived by his son, David C Prince and his wife, Leigh Shrewsbery Prince of Shady Spring. One brother, Frank D. Prince and his wife, Evelyn of Smithers. Ralph’s grandchild Rhae Eisenman of Morgantown and family friend Lee Cooper of Pax.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Bennett Prince and his son, Samuel Prince of Crab Orchard, two brothers Charles "Chalkie" Prince and Paul Samuel Prince both of Crab Orchard.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Crab Orchard Baptist Church with Pastor David Bush officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crab Orchard Baptist Church PO Box 446, Crab Orchard, WV 25827 or Three Rivers Avian Center at Three Rivers Avian Center (tracwv.org) address 2583 Brooks Mountain Road Hinton, WV 25951 which is a facility dedicated to wild bird conservation and rehabilitation.
