Phillip Dale Parker

Phillip Dale Parker, 47, of Crab Orchard, entered into his eternal rest April 25, 2019 while at his home. Phillip was born April 4, 1972 in Crab Orchard and was the son of the late Curtis Wayne and Karen Fay Sturgill Parker.
Phillip loved the outdoors and riding his 4-wheeler. He loved spending time with family and he especially loved hunting and visiting with his brother, Kevin, at their camp in Monroe County. He was a caregiver at heart. He helped care for his aging grandmother, Lottie Sturgill. Then during their final years he devoted most of his time caring for both of his parents. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring person.
Phillip was an employee of SGS North America Inc. and counted his boss and coworkers among his closest friends.
Phillip is survived by his sister, Lorie G. Sisson and husband Michael of Davisville, WV; brother, Kevin W. Parker and wife Lori of Henrico, VA; nieces, Denise J. Parker of Holt, FL, Christine F. Parker of Farmville, VA, Amanda G. Parker of Richmond, VA and Bethany P. Kross of Henrico, VA.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Sisson officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr, Beckley, WV 25801.
