Patrick Henry Estes

Patrick Henry Estes, Sr., 77, of Beckley, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born April 26, 1931 at Bud, WV, he was the son of the late Harry and Effie Lester Estes. Patrick was retired from Lane Construction Company. He was a member of the American Legion and was a supporter of Beckley Little League, Beckley Babe Ruth and Woodrow Wilson High School sports. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and had been a resident of Raleigh County for the past 40 years.

Beloved grandson:Shane McGinnis of Midway.
Brother: Robert Estes of Basin, WV
Sister: Jessie Shrewsbury of Beckley
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bud, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
