Patrick Arnold Lovell

Patrick Arnold Lovell, Sr., 81, of Beckley, WV, passed away at home on February 10, 2010. Born July 5, 1928, he was the son of the late Harry N. and Nona Elva Milem Lovell.
Mr. Lovell was a U.S. Marine Veteran, the former owner/operator of Lovell Trucking Inc. and Black Mountain State Ltd. He was a former licensed private pilot and former member of the New River Flying Club. He was a life-long avid model railroad collector and hobbyist.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Norma Jean Willis Lovell of Beckley; daughter and son-in-law, Pamella A. and Larry Kincaid of Danville, Va; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick A., II and Joyce of Beckley; Granddaughter, Crystal Lovell of Beckley and an expected great-grandson; and Grandson, Patrick F. Lovell of Daniels, WV. Step Grand-daughter, Stephanie Baldwin and step great grand-children, Alexis and Chandler Jones of Lewisburg, WV. Brothers, Charles N. and wife, Maureen, of Cumming, GA; William C. and wife, Janet, of Grandy, NC; sister-in-law, JoAnn Lovell of Beckley; 6 nieces, 5 nephews, 15 grandnieces and nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lovell was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James N. and Harry Lovell.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2010 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Clendenin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Milem Cemetery on Posey Saxton Road.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Griffith, Kenny Christian, Kenny Newsum, Bill Anderson, Jody Holley, Tony Critchley, Junior Loudermilk, and David French. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Wiseman, Larry Holly, and Dale Bennett.
