Patricia Ann Shumate Doleman, 74, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Born March 31, 1942 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sherman George and Opal Lee McKinney Shumate.
Patricia was a former secretary for the US government retiring after 25 years of service.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Sue Empson.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Davenport and her husband Brian; grandson, Logan A. Davenport; brother, Sherman Lee Shumate and his wife Linda; niece, Deniece Cheri, nephew, Byron C. Empson and great nephew, Joey Cheri..
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Ashworth Cemetery at Ghent.
