Norma Jean Hylton

Norma Jean Hylton, 76, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019.
Born December 21, 1942 in Skelton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Oather and Arbutus Plumley Bennett.
Norma was a homemaker. She was a member of Calloway Heights Baptist Church, Senior Friends and was active at the Raleigh County Commission on Aging.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Dale Hylton; daughter, Teresa Hylton of Crab Orchard, WV; son, Timothy Hylton and his wife Raven of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Shanae Minton, Ashley Saunders, Morgan Earnhardt and Jacob Earnhardt, Anthony Hylton and Matthew Hylton. Other surviving family members include Chris Kincaid, Jayden Straughn, Hunter Farris, Kevin Saunders and Trevor Saunders.
Services will be 11 AM Monday, October 14, 2019 at Calloway Heights Baptist Church with Pastors Bill Parker, Keith Manning and Bill Horton officiating. Special music by Lotus Bailes and Jeff Canterbury. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Monday at the church.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Recreation Department at Beckley VAMC, 200 Veterans Ave., Beckley, WV 25801.
