Nancy Alfreda Danks Hollandsworth, 81, of LaGrange, GA, formerly of Beckley, passed in peace, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Hospice LaGrange, LaGrange, GA. Born August 27, 1929 at Beech Creek, KY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Maude Hankins Danks. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hollandsworth. Nancy was a loving mother and homemaker living the majority of her life in Beckley. She was an active and longtime serving member of the First Christian Church, CWF, Daughters of the American Revolution, Capt. James Allen Chapter.
Survivors include two daughters, Roberta Casey and husband Michael of LaGrange, GA and Pamela Ann Hollandsworth of Beckley; two sons, Leon J. Hollandsworth of Beckley and Thomas K. Hollandsworth and wife Sharon of New Baltimore, MI; four granddaughters, Kelly Anne Miller, Kristen Marie McRae, Kathryn Allison Casey and Porsche Renee Richmond; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Nichole Johnson, Ethan Alexander Miller and Chloe Miller; sister-in-law, Doris Collier of Beckley; uncle, Bill Danks of Beech Creek, KY
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the First Christian Church, 119 North Fayette Street, Beckley, WV with Rev. Don Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Calfee Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Saturday.
