Melissa Dorthea Sizemore

Melissa Dorthea Sizemore, 53, of Mabscott, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 following a long illness. Born April 1, 1959 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Garland Sizemore and Ruby Spears Hanks. Melissa was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Sizemore and brothers, Damon Sizemore and Garland Sizemore, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Amber and April Sizemore of Mabscott; brothers, Samuel Sizemore and wife Marlene of Daniels, WV, Daniel Sizemore and wife Kat of Hamptonville, NC, Kenneth Sizemore and his wife Sissy of Daniels, WV, Timothy Sizemore and wife Seretha of Odd, WV, Paul Sizemore and wife Carla of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Drema Hensley and husband Clifford of Crab Orchard, WV, Vanna Ellis of Sophia, WV, Sharon Bland of Daniels, WV, Melinda Farris of Coal City, WV and an aunt, Pauline Akers and husband Baxter of Cool Ridge, WV.
Services will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel.
