Mary Lou Wagner

Mary Lou Wagner, aged 83, of Beckley, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

She was born on December 25, 1939, in Eagle, WV to the late Charles and Lafolda Comer Capps.

Mary had a fulfilling career as a sales representative for Sears and Roebuck. In her leisure time, she found joy in playing cards and trying her luck at the slot machines in Las Vegas. However, her greatest happiness came from being a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished her family dearly. West Virginia was not only Mary's birthplace but also her beloved home throughout her entire life.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Patrick Wagner, and five siblings.

Mary is survived by her daughters Kelly Cahill and her husband Patrick of Rock Hill, SC and Karen Wagner of Beckley; as well as her brother David Capps of Mt. Hope, WV. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Savannah Wagner Belk of San Francisco, CA; Noah Wagner Belk of Charlotte, NC; and Connor Patrick Cahill of Greenville, SC. and many nieces and nephews

Following Mary's wishes, she will be cremated. As per her request, no memorial service will be held.
