Marie Ann “Barnett” Richardson, 75 of Midway, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.
Born May 16, 1942 in Winding Gulf, WV she was the daughter of the late Jessie Walker and Neta Shrewsbury Barnett. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Walker Barnett, II.
Marie was a cashier at Wal-Mart for many years.
Survivors include her sisters, Hazel Nolan of Midway and Josephine Lafferty and her husband Roscoe of Hurricane; brothers, Joseph Wayne Barnett and his wife Linda of Midway and James William Barnett and his wife Dreama of Midway along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Rev. Wayne Nutter officiating. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
All those in attendance are invited James and Dreama’s house afterwards for food and drink.
