Margaret Rose Cochran

Margaret Cochran, 82, of Beckley, formerly of Oceana passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 in Morgantown, WV after a brief illness. Born January 30, 1927 at Gary, WV, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa Chickos Toth. Margaret was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Cochran, two brothers; Louis and Gabor Toth, four sisters; Theresa Berentes, Anna Popovick, Elizabeth Leach, and Mary Lupyon.
Survivors include two daughters; Peggy Daniels of Myrtle Beach, SC and Debra Shumate of Beckley, grandchildren; Scott Daniels and his wife Jennifer of Lawrenceburg, IN, Christopher Daniels and his wife Tanya of Beckley, Chad Shumate and his wife Samantha of Beckley, Brad Shumate of South Carolina and Dustin Shumate and his fianc Sarah Harmon of Beckley, great-grandchildren; Gavin, Avery and Max Daniels, Nathan Daniels,Ava Shumate, Ian Shumate, and Jasmine, sister, Helen Spychola of Bloomfield, NJ, sister-in-law, Lucy Mitchem of Grey, TN, brother-in-law, Frank Cochran and his wife Patty of Princeton, WV, sister-in-law, Gladys Sexton and her husband Vaughan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vondie L. Cook, II officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service on Monday.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
