Louise Malinowski, 90, passed away May 16, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. She was a resident of Beckley, WV for 28 years and was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and choir.
Louise was born June 18, 1920 in Dubois, PA and her family moved to Chicago, IL when she was a child. In Chicago, she met and married Frank Malinowski and they raised four children. They were married 61 years until Frank’s passing in 1999. Seven years after his passing she spent several years in Atlanta, GA to be with her granddaughter, Tamara and her family during a short illness. In 2009, she moved to Jacksonville, FL to be with her daughter, Kimberly during an extended illness.
Predeceased are husband Frank and two sons, Lawrence Malinowski, formerly of Washington, D.C. and buried in Arlington, VA and Charles Malinowski of Kokomo, IN where he has been laid to rest.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Russell of CA and Kimberly Glass in FL, several grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout the country.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Monsignor Samuel Sacus officiating. A Rite of Committal will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American cancer Society or St. Francis deSales Catholic Church.
