Lottie Pearl Duncan, 83, of MacArthur, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at Bowers Hopice House. Born July 2, 1927 in Sophia, WV, she was the daughter of the late Otto Arley and Pearl Dick Sears.
Lottie was a homemaker and attended worship services at the Salvation Army when she was able. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Woodie and a nephew, Frankie Duncan.
Survivors include her children, Phyllis Ann McKnew and husband Robert of Mabscott, Randy Lewis Duncan and wife Kay of Midway, Roger Lee Duncan of Sophia, Ronnie Lloyd Duncan and wife Rita of Coal City, Bonnie H. Rakes and companion Steven Bennett of Pax Branch, WV, and Raymond Layne Duncan and companion Sam Farley of Midway, a nephew, Nelson (Johnny) Duncan of Crab Orchard, 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren, sister, Madaline Wright of Pax Branch, brother, Curtis Sears and wife Jean, a special sister-in-law of Crab Orchard and a special niece, Tina Sears Richmond.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service on Friday.
Pallbearers will be Randy Duncan,Jr., Scott Duncan, Raymond Duncan,II,
Lee Duncan, Eric Duncan, Larry Smith, Cody Sears, Nic Bragg.
