Lois Clements McLean

July 6, 1925 — November 10, 2008

Lois was born July 6, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of the late Phil and Margaret Clements. Lois graduated from Purdue University and wrote about Mother Jones’ association with the United Coal Miners. She met and married William D. McLean while working as an entertainer of armed forces personnel stationed in Germany.

Brothers:Marc Clements and his wife Evelyn of Oklahoma City, OK
Ted Clements and his wife Barbara of Indianapolis, IN
Favorite brother-in-law: Robert McLean of Beckley.

A funeral liturgy will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Monsignor Samuel S. Sacus the celebrant. A rite of committal will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Friends may call at the Calfee Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Friday where a rosary led by Rev. Mr. Don Wise will be held at 7:00 p.m.
