Lisa Carrie Fournier Kenneda 43, received her wings on Wed. August 24, 2016 at her home in Glen Rogers, WV. Lisa was born May 28, 1973, she was a breast cancer survivor and passed on due to a rare bone cancer. She shared her home with her husband (childhood sweetheart) of 24 years. They were blessed with 2 wonderful children.
Lisa was the daughter of the late Leon and Marylee Fournier, one sister, the late Polly Ann Bryson. She was a member of Anew Awakening Ministries of Ravencliff, WV where she attended until her illness made it impossible, but never lost her faith. She loved her church family and anyone who knew her loved her also.
Lisa enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband and spending time with her family and friends at cookouts. She enjoyed being a Nana to their granddaughter Phoebe. She was also a wonderful Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She love being a second mom to a lot of the neighborhood kids. Lisa was a loving person and generous to everyone. She really touched many peoples lives with her own unwavering faith and strong belief in God.
She is survived by her husband Earl Joe Kenneda and their daughter Kayla Kenneda Mollohan and her husband Johnathan and their daughter Phoebe of Buckhannon, WV. Also her son Christopher Kenneda and his fiance Kristin Hash of Glen Rogers, WV. Also two brothers, Jimmy Fournier and his wife Jane. Gregory Fournier and his wife Candy. One foster brother Larry Clitis. All of Glen Rogers, WV. Loving in laws Denver and Kathy Justice of Sabine, WV and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Mollahan, Johnny Wayne and Elijah Bryson, Cody Baugh, Alfred Ball and Tony Cook.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to her sister in law Candy Fourniner for taking special care of Lisa in her time of need. The family could not have done it without her.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley. Visitation starts at 10 am with service starting at 11 am. with pastor Jason Bledsoe officiating and assistant pastor Denver Justice memorializing. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Calfee Funeral Home or given to Earl Joe Kenneda.
