Linda Matherly

Linda Lane (Diggs) Matherly, 65, of Beckley, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 3, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born January 28, 1949 in Beckley, WV, the daughter of the late Samuel and Madeline “Peggy” Diggs. She was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend who will be greatly missed.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Gary Matherly, her daughter Kelly Sweeney and husband Bryan and son Brian Matherly and wife Kelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Madison McKinney, Ian McKinney, Isaac Matherly and Allie Matherly, a sister Nancy (Diggs) Myles, of Cincinnati, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Beaver, West Virginia on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with her pastor, Dr. Rollan Roberts officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church.
