Lawrence Lee Brammer

Lawrence Lee Brammer, 90, of coal City, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at home.
Born on January 29, 1931 at Affinity, WV, he was the son of the late Waldo and Versie Sweeny Brammer.
Mr. Brammer was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a retired coal miner from Slab Fork Coal Company. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean Brammer and Freeman Joe Brammer, and a sister, Betty Sturgill.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68 years, Dora Lee Mullens Brammer; his three children, Larry Brammer of Coal City, WV, Edward Brammer and his wife Susan Brammer of Grandview, WV, and a daughter, Shirley Brammer Trotter of Coal City, WV; his grandchildren, Billie Patton, Luke (Missy) Brammer, Josh (Mellissa) Brammer, Waylon (Lori) Brammer, Teena (Daniel) Lilly, Chelsea (Brian) Phillips, Kera (Adam) Scruggs; his great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew, Nicholi, Levi, Emily, Colton, Walker, AvaLynn, and Elliot.
In accordance with his wishes, a military grave-side service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Kelly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
