Latha Fay Pettrey

Latha Fay Pettrey, 82, of Beckley, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021. Born April 15, 1938, in Crab Orchard, she was the daughter of the late James Preston and Nancy Ann Meadows.
Besides her parents, Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Pettrey Sr.; brothers, Page, Lacy, Emerson, Tom and Frank Meadows; sister, Maxine Henline; and son-in-law, Dan Stillwell.
A retired LPN from Raleigh General Hospital, Fay loved working in her flower beds, crochet, crossword puzzles, reading and her companion dog, BeBe.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda and Doug Russ of Greensboro, N.C., Mary Stillwell of Beckley, Vickie and Roy Douglas of Maple Fork; her son, Ronald (Buz) and Missy Pettrey of Daniels; sisters, Jessie Meadows of Mabscott and Josephine Daniels of Beckley; brothers, Preston and Shirley Meadows of Hillsboro and James “Jim" and Susie Meadows of Crab Orchard; grandchildren, Gene and Melissa Bragg, Elizabeth Russ, DJ Russ, Robby Pettrey and Beth Pettrey; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Calfee Funeral Home with Gene Bragg officiating. Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
