Kay Pence

Kay Pence, 86, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023.

Born July 6, 1937 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Charlotte McLaughlin Sayre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Jon and Gregory Pence and grandchildren, Eddie and Katie Russell.

Kay was a former office manager for Dr. Richard Daniel. She enjoyed working at Daniel Vineyards and loved helping others.

She is survived by sons, Mark Pence (Tracy) of Troutman, NC, Joe Pence (Debby) of Beckley and daughter, Lynn Russell of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Joey Pence, Justin Pence, Ashlie Pence, Alison Pence, Lindsay Pence, Mark Pence, Jr., Lucas Pence, Jessica Grainger, Greg Metrick and 19 great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gordon Ross officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
