Katheryn Desiree' Moomaw

Katheryn Desiree’ Moomaw, 41, of Josephine, WV, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
Born March 12, 1978 in Gallipolis, OH, she was the daughter of Brenda Darlene Hix. She enjoyed writing poetry in her spare time, had a love for all animals and strong passion for photography.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Warren Keith Moomaw.
In addition to her mother Katheryn is survived by her grandmother, Mary Katheryn Moomaw of Josephine; brothers, Mathew Wade Hix and his wife Melissa of Cumberland, RI, Robert Austin Hix and his wife Jessica of Beckley and Billy Wade Hix of Sophia; Aunty Friend, Reba Lockard of Rhodell along with numerous extended family and friends.
Services will be 1pm Monday, March 9, 2020 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Butch White officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Cemetery in Shady Spring, WV. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service Monday.
