Julia Virginia Shoemaker

Julia Virginia Shoemaker, 78, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in a local hospital following a long illness.
Born February 12, 1932, Julia was the daughter of the late William and Bernice Veid Diclaro. Also preceding her in death, a granddaughter, Nicole F. Runge and a brother, John DiClaro, and a step son, Howard Shoemaker.
Julia was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Raleigh County.
Julia is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Miller and Esther Runge, two grandchildren, Eric and Tiffany Runge, one brother, Joseph William Diclaro, two sisters, Betty Ruth Miller and Mary Lee Miller, and two step sons, Ronald and Gary Shoemaker.
Following Julia’s wishes, she will be cremated with no service scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions made in her memory to The American Cancer Society, 101 South Kanawha St. Beckley WV, 25801.
