Jimmy Hanson

On October 19,2021, Jimmy Hanson passed away peacefully at hospice in Beckley, WV after a short battle with pneumonia complications. He was 64 years old. Jimmy is survived by his son, Bradley Hanson; brother Clifford Hanson; sisters, Sandra Blackwell, JoAnn Mahan, Janet Gillum and Anna Rogers. He was preceded in death by mother, Sadie Hanson and father Rev. Herbert T Hanson, Jr. Jimmy greatly enjoyed fishing with friends and family. He was a very loving soul and had a wonderful sense of humor that made a legendary imprint on all those that had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with him. The family will plan a private family service in his honor at a later date.
