Jesse Lee Crabtree

March 27, 1928 — March 21, 2007

Mr. Crabtree was a verteran of the U.S Air Force where he earned a WW II Victory Medal having served in the Asiatic Pacific and American theatres. He was a member of the calloway Heights Baptist Church, a mason and member of the UMWA District 17. He was employed as a coal miner with the Eastern Associated Coal Company at the Kopperston #2 mine for twenty years before retiring. He previously worked for General Dynamics in san Diego, CA, Bell Aircraft in Buffalo, NY and at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. In addition to his parents her was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack & Clarence Crabtree and by a sister, Opal Crabtree.
